We are a general accountancy practice providing a variety of services to a wide range of clients of all shapes and sizes.
However, over the years we have also developed a speciality in dealing with accounting and taxation matters for the medical profession, and as such we have been members of the Association of Independent Specialist Medical Accountants (AISMA) since 1996.
We now act for a large number of medical practices throughout the North West area and our own knowledge and experience, combined with that available through AISMA, enables us to provide up to date and specialist advice to our medical practitioner clients.
Knowledge and experience gained from other clients is also invaluable in advising medical practitioners, where general practices are now more and more like other "owner managed" business in many respects.

Our services include the following:-
- Accountancy – Fast and effective preparation of annual accounts.
- Budgets and cash flow forecasts – Including assistance with new GMS / PMS contract budgets and negotiations.
- Computerisation – Including MacLean McNicoll, GP Accounts and other accounting software.
- Cost or notional rent schemes – Also LIFT and private developer schemes.
- Medical Update – A regular Newsletter that we produce in conjunction with AISMA, and forward to clients and friends on a regular basis.

- Payroll processing – Using Ferguson GP Payroll or other payroll software.

- Superannuation and pension planning
- Taxation compliance – Preparation of partners expenses and capital allowances claims, partnership and partners self assessment Tax Returns.
- Taxation planning – Advice and planning in respect of Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and other taxes as required.
